Catalysts
Our PGM catalysts have different applications in chemical processes such as the hydrogenation of organic intermediates, and the purification of terephthalic acid, but also in environmental applications like the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) through catalytic oxidation.
In particular, the hydrogenation of organic intermediates includes the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), fine chemicals (antioxidants, polymers, etc.), flavor and fragrances and in production of chemicals from renewables (fatty acids, sugars, etc.).
For all these applications, Chimet is able to supply specific PGM catalysts.
